Today the junior class took a field trip to visit the St. Anthony Falls Laboratory, a fluid dynamics research facility situated on the Mississippi River that is part of the University of Minnesota. Students got to see several experiments related to fundamental studies modeling long-term river dynamics, the formation of deltas, and the effects of man-made structures on aquatic life.
