Over MEA break, Jane Hulse participated in the The World Food Prize Youth Institute as a Norman Borlaug scholar. One of the 100 high school students from around the world to receive this award, she interacted with Nobel and World Food Prize Laureates, discussed pressing food security and agricultural issues with international experts, and took part in symposium discussions with global leaders in science, industry and policy. She also presented to and fielded questions from a panel of food experts on her paper on malnutrition in Fiji, which had won her the award. Congratulations Jane on this prestigious accomplishment.
