Trinity students were treated to a delightful lecture by Dr. Oliver Nicholson on the Roman persecution of the Christians last Thursday. Dr. Nicholson is an Associate Professor in the Department of Classical and Near Eastern Studies at the University of Minnesota and is a scholar of Latin and Late Antiquity. His passionate and engaging presentation brought the material to life and made it clear why he has won numerous teaching awards and is a favorite lecturer for several Trinity faculty.
