Thank you Seagate for giving Trinity juniors a tour of their facility in Bloomington, MN on Friday, April 26. The students were shown around the Seagate manufacturing facility and then given a brief presentation by a few Seagate employees on how they use MATLAB, a programming language taught at Trinity, to help analyze the performance of hard drives made by Seagate. The tour served as a way to expose the students to some of the practical applications of what they are learning and to whet their appetite for what they will be learning in Physics next year.
