On Wednesday afternoon, the 7th and 8th grade boys clashed in the annual phalanx battle. (The phalanx was a battle formation used in ancient Greece that involved overlapping shields and spears.) Senior boys pelted the younger boys with water balloons as the battle raged. After a fierce conflict, the 8th grade boys claimed victory.
