Trinity 6th graders spent a day in Elk River, MN, at the Oliver Kelley Farm, a historic 1850’s farmstead on the shores of the Mississippi River. They pitched manure, planted seedling potatoes, milled corn to feed the chickens, and (a highlight for most of them) got to pet and curry comb the hair of Blaze the Ox.
