Life at Trinity

Your Child Will Belong Here

From the first week of sixth grade, students are welcomed into a school that knows them by name and keeps traditions they look forward to for years.

Real Friendships

Real Community

Real community doesn’t happen by chance; it is built with purpose. Over the past forty years, we’ve shaped a culture where every student is seen and valued from the moment they step through our doors. Whether it’s seniors greeting sixth graders on day one or families connecting across grade levels, this is a place where new faces become lifelong friends in a matter of weeks.

Traditions That Build Community

Meaningful community isn’t confined to the classroom. Through class parties, social events, and service days, our traditions create space for shared experiences and authentic fun.

Field Day

Three times a year, the whole school pauses for a full day of friendly cross-grade competition. Fall and spring bring kickball, bocce, ultimate frisbee, and volleyball outdoors; winter moves inside for fishbowl, fictionary, and mafia.

TriHawk Trials

A year-long class competition where grades earn points through tug-of-war, Minute-to-Win-It games, food drives, and more. The winning class earns a feast, bragging rights, and its graduation year inscribed on the ceremonial Trinity sword.

High School Parties

Twice a year, grades 9 through 12 come together for high-energy themed evenings full of great food, games, costumes, and dancing: the Homecoming Party each fall and the beloved Oldies Party every spring.

Junior-Senior Formal

A signature milestone with an off-campus dinner, dance, and after-party. Students learn classic ballroom steps like the waltz and Charleston, and every other year the formal moves aboard a nighttime paddleboat cruise on the Mississippi.

Class Parties

Every grade hosts six all-inclusive class parties a year to build genuine friendship and community. Middle school gatherings are mostly single-gender; high school mixes single-gender outings with co-ed class events.

Service Projects & Outreach

Service is central to student life. Every November, each class plans a hands-on project to meet local needs across the Twin Cities, and the whole Trinity community joins an annual school-wide food drive.

Parents Are Part of the Community Too

The Parent Service Association is how Trinity families become part of the school, not just supporters of it. The PSA organizes the monthly class parties, coordinates service opportunities, and creates the events that give parents a place alongside their students. When your child enrolls, you do too.
