Last week, the 8th graders traveled to Collegeville to see the St. John’s Bible, as well as several facsimiles of medieval manuscripts at St. John’s University. The students’ medieval history studies and
background with illuminated manuscripts at Trinity gave them a special appreciation for these beautiful works!The Saint John’s Bible is the first completely handwritten and illuminated Bible to be commissioned by a Benedictine abbey since the invention of the printing press.
