At today’s Lecture & Performance series, Mr. Dave Tabor, Delta pilot and father of three current Trinity students, explored today how piloting a plane is tied to Trinity’s mission: when you earn your pilot’s license, you’re given a license to learn!

As a pilot, he constantly learns about new things: meteorology, aerodynamics, mechanics, geography, chemistry and more. He talked about the science of flight, how humans have learned to fly, and the beauty he regularly encounters from the cockpit of a plane.
