The seventh-grade girls took a field trip last week for more water-related intentional observations. Destination: Minnehaha Falls and the confluence of the Mississippi & Minnesota Rivers.

Given the space and time to observe and explore, they made exciting discoveries: shells upstream from the waterfall itself, similarities in the sand slope erosion patterns in both locations, and underwater river algae “blowing in the breeze,” to name a few!
