Q: What most interested you in teaching with us (again!)?
A: I am a Trinity School alumna, so I have recognized the value of a Trinity School education for most of my life. Specifically, the critical thinking skills and the love of learning that students develop throughout the years spent at Trinity will benefit students for the rest of their lives. I am looking forward to witnessing the moments when ideas come alive for my students and understanding triggers deeper connections and inquiry.

Q: Describe a moment of significant intellectual awakening in your life.
A: When I was in college, I spent a semester in Australia on an Environmental Studies program. Being introduced to entirely new biomes and groups of species inspired a new appreciation of the order and sophistication of God’s creation.

Q: Describe a significant life experience outside of college.
A: One of the most significant tasks I have been gifted with is raising my family. Raising four boys is intense, but it is often richly rewarding. Seeing characteristics of myself manifest in one of my children under various circumstances has lead to many opportunities for self-reflection and growth.
