We are thrilled to introduce one of Trinity’s newest faculty members, Ms. Suzie Peyrebrune! Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, Ms. Peyrebrune recently graduated from Hillsdale College with a Bachelor of Arts in Latin with a minor in Classical Education.

Q: Describe a moment of significant intellectual awakening in your life.
A: When I read Ovid’s Metamorphoses in Latin, I realized for the first time that Latin could be beautiful, interesting and fun at the same time.
Q: What are your specific areas of academic interest?
A: Latin literature of the Augustan age, Platonism, St. Augustine, the Italian Renaissance, and Flannery O’Connor
Q: What do you do in your spare time?
A: I play violin. I’ve always played classical, but am hoping to learn to fiddle soon.
Q: How did you learn about Trinity School?
A: I am friends with a good number of Trinity alumni. They are thoughtful and kind, which made it seem like Trinity must be a good place.
