Trinity School at River Ridge students were recently asked to finish the sentence, “I love going to Trinity School because …”
Today’s post is the first in a week long feature of just a few of the answers!
“I love being a student at Trinity because I get to encounter ideas that I otherwise may never have thought about. I also get to share these ideas with classmates and teachers as we work together to understand them.
“One week this semester our art teacher, Mr. Carr, gave a series of morning prayer reflections on language and how we adopt the dialect of other people the more we talk to them. My language education had already led me to wonder a lot about what language is and to talk to my friends about it, but Mr. Carr’s reflections led me to pursue my interest in language even further. Without the experience of having learned Latin at the same time I was learning English grammar, I would never have begun to consider just how fascinating language itself is.”
