We are not on this earth by mere chance. Rather, we are on a great adventure and, as this school likes to tell the world, “Truth matters.” Your education has been an encounter with this adventure and Truth, which often reveals to us the gap that characterizes the human condition between “what we have been created to be” and who we actually are. This road to self-discovery is never an easy one, but it is one that faces our gaps and blind spots and leads us to the greatest of meaning and relationships.
