Makoto Fujimura on “Culture Care: Faith, Culture and Art”

Trinity School at River Ridge welcomes Makoto Fujimura who will give the keynote address of our 2016 Trinity School at River Ridge Christian Arts Festival.

Makoto Fujimura is an artist, writer, and speaker who is recognized worldwide as a cultural shaper. A Presidential appointee to the National Council on the Arts from 2003-2009, Fujimura served as an international advocate for the arts, speaking with decision makers and advising governmental policies on the arts. There will be a Q&A session following the talk as well as an awards ceremony announcing the winners of the Arts Festival. After the ceremony, all artists that participated in the festival are invited to a private reception with Mako.
