Ninth graders dissected dogfish sharks in their Biology classes this last week. They are asked to explain and investigate the structure of the shark and then relate the structure of particular organs to their function in the shark. One in a series of many dissections over the course of the semester, the students found this dissection very interesting and, of course, a lot of fun.
